Tomorrow at 1p, EST, tune and get introduced an organization new to us:  Climate March.ORG.  Would you participate in a march across the US, from LA to DC, that is planning on assembling the largest group of marchers in America's history?  Have you heard about this march that is planned to start in LA on March 1, 2014?  There's only one place to hear it and that is on Renewable Now the show that brings you the business side of green.

Mission:

The goal of the Great March for Climate Action is to change the heart and mind of our fellow Americans and our elected leaders. On March 1, 2014, 1,000 climate patriots will set-out from Los Angeles, CA, walking 2,980 miles across America to Washington, DC, inspiring and motivating the general public and elected officials to act now to address the climate crisis. This will be the largest coast-to-coast march in American history.

Ed served as a state legislator for fourteen years before running unsuccessfully for Governor in 2006 and U.S. Congress in 2008. For the past four years, he has hosted a talk show called the Fallon Forum. Ed got his start in working for a better world while coordinating the Iowa section of the Great Peace March in 1986

Zach graduated from the University of Iowa in honors with a degree in Management, a degree in Marketing, a minor in International Studies and a certificate in Human Rights. While studying there he founded and presided over University of Iowa Students for Human Rights. Zach also won several awards during his time at the University of Iowa including but not limited to: the Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship Award, the Phillip G. Hubbard Human Rights Award, a Public Service Commendation and the Outstanding Student Organization Leader Award

Courtney Kain’s background ranges from a logistics specialist and combat lifesaver in the Army to marching for LGBT rights. She majored in Psychology and minored in Biology. Some of her previous experience involved working to increase gender equity in politics, reduce the rate of unplanned pregnancies, and develop local sustainable communities. Courtney has a slight, but treatable, obsession with Bollywood films and can often be found singing in Hindi, although she can’t speak it very well.
