CLIMATE REALITY + UNITED NATIONS + YOU

Updates from our friends at Climate Reality.    We love the question "Why not make the environment the economy?"   What a great approach to the business side of green..

This year, we're working with the United Nations to spur governments, industry, and civil groups to make new commitments on addressing climate change.
Why? Because with the U.N. climate negotiations kicking off next month, we're seeing real opportunities for progress. And this is just one reason we're optimistic. Here's a few more to share with and inspire your friends.
COAL MINES INTO SOLAR FARMS
In the United Kingdom, old coal mines are being transformed into solar farms. If that isn't incredible progress towards a clean-energy future, we're not sure what is.

Head to Facebook to check out the article we posted a few weeks ago about this very topic. Then, share this graphic with your friends.
A HISTORIC PROPOSAL
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has proposed a plan to cut carbon pollution levels from power plants for the first time in the nation's history. It's a big deal and it's got the entire climate movement buzzing.
Last week, hundreds testified at the EPA and shared personal stories of how carbon pollution is affecting their daily lives, including Olympic skier and Climate Ambassador Kaylin Richardson. Read her testimony here, and add your name to the thousands of others demanding a sustainable future.
