Energy & Environmental Leaders Day/Senator Whitehouse in Rhode Island this Friday

Renewable Now is enjoying a fabulous week along with our flagship station, WRNP 1320. So many good things happened this week, topped off by our live broadcast that will take place this Friday, Sept 5, 9a-3p, EST, from the Rhode Convention Center.  Below is more information.

ReNewable Now's WRNP will be broadcasting live from Senator Sheldon's Whitehouse's "5th Annual Rhode Island Energy and Environmental Leaders Day," where we will be bringing you exclusive interviews, reports, and covering the day's events and presentations with post analysis and reviews.

Coverage begins at 9:00 am with "The Business Side of Green," where host Peter Arpin is joined by guest co-host Brian Keane of SmartPower USA. They will open the broadcast with an interview with Senator Whitehouse
 who will help set the tone of the event and share with us a bit of history of this annual gathering and how it's grown and what the future looks like when it comes to moving into a more sustainable society.
